- Byte Federal implements a rigorous AML/KYC program, ensuring it is compliant with the Bank Secrecy Act and Anti-Money Laundering Compliance Program.
- The breach occurred on September 30 and was discovered by Byte Federal on November 18.
- According to the company, hackers exploited a vulnerability in third-party software, specifically a bug in the GitLab developer platform.
"We have no evidence at this time that any of your personal information was actually compromised or misused in any manner. No user funds or assets were compromised," the announcement added.
