Boltz Web App v1.5.0: BOLT 12 Swaps
Boltz is a non-custodial Bitcoin bridge that enables swaps between different Bitcoin layers.
- "We just shipped a little something: Bolt12 Swaps," announced Boltz.
- This Boltz web app release adds BOLT 12 support for Submarine Swaps (swapping into Lightning), ability to fetch BIP-353 with DNSSEC prover, BancoLibre and StashPay to integrations, and Ledger and Trezor support, among other things.
- Additionally, Boltz Backend v3.8.0 brings support for a new CLN hold invoice plugin rewritten in Rust, ability to renegotiate amounts for Chain Swap in case they are over or underpaid, enables the creation of Chain Swaps with any amount, allows for paying BOLT 12 invoices in submarine swaps, and introduces an API endpoint for fetching invoices for offers.
- BOLT 12 is an upgrade to the Lightning network that enables things like reusable payment requests, increased receiver privacy, and more robust censorship resistance. Learn more about BOLT 12 here.
