Nayib Bukele Reveals El Salvador's Bitcoin Address
The country moved 5689 BTC (~$400 million) into a cold storage held in a physical vault within national territory, the president said.

- "We've decided to transfer a big chunk of our Bitcoin to a cold wallet, and store that cold wallet in a physical vault within our national territory. You can call it our first Bitcoin piggy bank. It's not much, but it's honest work," announced Nayib Bukele with a picture of the following bitcoin address.

- Earlier this week, the country also removed income taxes previously imposed on money from abroad, in a move to attract more foreign investment. Prior to the reform, incomes equal to or greater than $150,000 had to pay a rate of 30% at the time of entry into the country.
