chachi.chat: A Relay-based Group Chat Client for Nostr
chachi is a nostr relay-based (NIP-29) group chat client that is designed to be mobile-friendly, bandwidth efficient and interoperable with all kinds of content.
- Verbiricha, the developer of Nostr long-form content client habla.news, recently introduced chachi.chat, a relay-based group (NIP-29) client for the web.
- NIP-29 enables the establishment of groups that can be accessed by anyone or limited exclusively to authenticated users. These groups can allow new members to join freely or may require direct approval from the group administrators. Additionally, each group is equipped with a chat feature and a timeline for posts.
NOTE: The client is still a work in progress so expect bugs and missing features.
"I'll add more content types such as long-form and video in the future. Check out these videos explaining the main features of chachi," said the developer.
