Here are some the latest Bitcoin grassroots projects and initiatives launched via the Geyser crowdfunding platform.
Communities and education
African Bitcoin Community Builders
- Assembling an army of Bitcoin orange-pillers all over Africa. "For every 3 million sats we raise, we can support a community builder for a year. Our goal is to have one community builder in at least 21 different African countries. This means YOUR contribution directly fuels the empowerment of these builders, making a lasting impact on Bitcoin adoption across the continent. We will kick off with the fabulous five: Nigeria, Ghana, Kenya, South Africa, and Zimbabwe."
Bitcoin House Bali
- Building the Bitcoin House Bali - community, education and co-working space. "Situated in the buzzing heart of Bali, Canggu, right on the main road, Bitcoin House Bali is a place where anyone can drop by to soak in knowledge, share ideas, do P2P transactions, and contribute to the Bitcoin revolution. From co-working spaces to meetups, from casual coffee gatherings to yoga sessions, this space is envisioned as a hub of activity, learning, and meaningful connections."
Node Nation project in El Salvador
- A workshop room in an El Salvador public school. "Imagine a world where schools not only teach math and science, but also how the sound money of the future works! By completing the Node Nation program, [students] gain a deep understanding of the fascinating Bitcoin world. From the fundamentals of the protocol to setting up nodes and exploring the mining industry, our students will be true experts!"

Bitcoin Bugle
- The Bitcoin Bugle is a publication launched in order to create fake news relating to Bitcoin. "The Bitcoin Bugle is an independent publication launched in January 2023 by Richard Greaser to create fake news relating to Bitcoin. We are the Bitcoin standard of journalism. Our goal is to create news so fake that you will think it's real. Our goal is to be entirely community funded with no support from sponsorships so we don't end up looking like Pomp."
