Labelbase v2.2.3: UI Improvements, Testnet Support

Labelbase is a label management service for Bitcoin transactions and addresses. It supports BIP-329, a format for unifying label data. The goal of the project is to offer a convenient solution for managing labels associated with Bitcoin transactions and addresses across wallets and other tools.

  • Labelbase v2.2.3 has been released. This version introduces UI improvements, testnet support, adds ability to import Samourai wallet backups, and other improvements.
  • The latest release is now available for all-self hosted instances. The one-click-node distribution packages will be updated as soon as possible, said the developer.

  • Testnet Support: Added "Address Derivation" support for Testnet keys (tpub, upub, vpub).
  • Samourai Backup Import: Import your samourai.txt backups directly into Labelbase.
    • WARNING: "This process will expose the seeds from the backup file during import. Use this feature only on your personal Labelbase instance under your control!"
  • Frontend codebase cleanup for better performance.
  • Reworked Electrum background operations (UTXO lookup)
  • Updated dependencies to ensure stability and security.
  • Minor bug fixes and numerous code improvements.
