LifPay Temporarily Suspends Operations, Winds Down Wallet Services
The custodial mobile Lightning wallet service provider is asking users to withdraw their funds within the next 60 days.
"After thorough evaluation and in aligned with regulatory requirements, we have made the difficult decision to temporarily suspend LifPay’s operations," announced the project.
- As part of the wind-down process for the wallets, LifPay users are urged to withdraw bitcoin within the next 60 days by submitting a withdrawal request.
- Detailed withdrawal instructions have been sent to users via email, mobile, and/or Nostr. Anonymous accounts should contact support@lifpay.me for assistance.
"If you have not withdrawn within 60 days after receiving this information, we will no longer provide any guarantee for the withdrawal, but we will still take necessary measures to protect your assets and continue to provide you with the necessary service in the future," said the project.
- LifPay provides a mobile custodial Lightning wallet for iOS and Android devices, supporting multiple accounts, Nostr login, Bolt cards, and Lightning addresses.
