OpenSats Announces 9th Wave of Nostr Grants
Projects included in this wave of funding are AlgoRelay, Pokey, Nostr Safebox, Persian NIPs, and LumiLumi.
- "We're thrilled to announce our latest wave of funding, which will support five innovative projects that advance and strengthen the nostr ecosystem," announced OpenSats.
The projects within the ninth wave of Nostr grants include:
- AlgoRelay. It is the first algorithmic relay on Nostr, designed to deliver personalized feeds while ensuring transparency and user control. Unlike proprietary solutions, it supports multiple clients and fosters a diverse ecosystem of algorithms for creating engaging social feeds.
- Pokey. Pokey is a 'pull notification' app for Android that offers multi-account support, efficient notifications, and offline Bluetooth mesh networking.
- Nostr Safebox is a an open-source wallet for the Nostr network that stores Cashu tokens as encrypted relay events. It enables secure fund management and transfers without relying on centralized databases, offering a scalable decentralized payment system.
- Persian NIPs is an open-source ebook that provides Persian/Farsi speakers with localized Nostr resources. It includes translations of key NIPs, user guides for tools like NIP-05 and Lightning, and developer documentation for managing Nostr relays and clients.
- LumiLumi. It is a lightweight Nostr web client that enhances accessibility and usability. It offers custom emoji, relay configuration, NIP-05 verification, and data-saving settings, making it ideal for data-limited environments.
