Projects that made it into this wave include:

  • Nostr Arduino. Nostr Arduino is an open-source library that allows Arduino microcontrollers to use the nostr protocol, facilitating the sending and receiving of nostr events by embedded devices.
  • White Noise by JeffG. It is a nostr-based messaging client prioritizing secure communication. It uses double ratchet encryption for direct messages, supports group chats, and syncs conversations across devices.
  • futr. Futr is a decentralized nostr client in Haskell, focusing on public/private groups (NIP-29) and private messages (NIP-17). It's meant to function like Telegram, is a native app, and cross-compiles to Linux, Windows, macOS, Android, and iOS.
  • Notedeck. It is a multi-platform nostr client for Android and desktop, inspired by TweetDeck. It features a modular dashboard with customizable columns, allowing users to manage multiple accounts, view timelines, notifications, direct messages, and bookmarks from a single interface.
