OpenSats Announces Long-Term Support for Mike Dilger
"OpenSats is excited to announce long-term support for Mike Dilger, a dedicated contributor in the nostr ecosystem," announced the organization.
- Mike is the lead developer of Gossip, a secure, privacy-focused nostr client using Rust. Gossip is a reference for the "outbox model," a design enabling more scalable nostr message distribution. Mike also contributed to nostr tools and libraries like chorus relay, relay tester, and NIP discussions.
- With the LTS grant, Mike plans to improve support for replying to versions of replaceable events, add NIP-96 file uploads, implement Blossom support, Web of Trust, and search at the relay level, and enhance reporting and labeling (NIP-56/NIP-32).
"Never in my life has something so important fallen into my lap, and I feel responsible to the future of humanity to get this right." - Mike Dilger
