Samourai Wallet Pretrial Hearing Moved to March 12, Trial Set for November 3, 2025

• A memo filed on December 11th postpones Samourai Wallet's next pre-trial hearing from December 17th to March 12th, 2025, delaying it by 90 days. The trial date has been set for November 3rd, 2025.
• Since the last pretrial conference before the Court on September 17, 2024, the Government delivered discovery Batches 3 and 4 on September 23 and October 21, 2024. Despite encryption issues, it reproduced Batches 1 and 2 and provided them to developer Keonne Rodriguez on November 6, 2024. Batch 5, containing data from seized devices, is expected within seven days
• The filing reveals that an FBI team is reviewing 45 a total devices seized from developers Keonne Rodriguez and William Lonergan Hill for privileged material, aiming to release the remaining data by early 2025. To date, 17 TB of discovery—over half the total—has been shared, with additional data forthcoming before trial.

"The Government has completed its privilege review of approximately 16 electronic devices thus far, and it will be providing identified data to the defendants on a rolling basis moving forward as it completes review of the remaining approximately 29 devices," was stated in the memo.

• In the latest hearing, Samourai Wallet's defense compared discovery to "75% of the Library of Congress" and printed out papers reaching the Moon and back 22 times.
