ZEUS v0.10.0-alpha1: Channel Renewals, Nostr Wallet Connect & Developer Tools

"The ZEUS v0.10.0 open alpha test program has begun! Help us test the next major release of ZEUS featuring channel renewals, Nostr Wallet Connect (NWC) client support, developer tools view, and chantools: sweepremoteclosed," announced the project.

ZEUS v0.10.0 alpha testing is open to everyone. Android users can download the release via GitHub or using tools like the Obtainium app, while iOS alpha testers must join the alpha TestFlight group. Note that ZEUS iOS beta testers have to leave the beta testing group first to be able to test alpha releases.
ZEUS v0.9.6 is the latest stable release of ZEUS wallet.

What's new

Channel renewals. Users can now renew and extend channel leases from both channel services. Channels opened to Olympus LSP with user funds can be upgraded for guaranteed lifetime and fee savings. Renewal notifications are coming soon.
Nostr Wallet Connect (NWC). ZEUS now supports NWC connections to external wallets like Alby Hub and Cashu.me. Currently, it's for accessing NWC wallets in ZEUS (client-side). Server-side access to the built-in ZEUS wallet is planned for a future release.
Developer Tools. A new section for developers is now available under the Tools menu, allowing developers to test API calls for their selected wallet and view raw responses.

Chantools. Chantools is a CLI tool for recovering Lightning channel funds if channel state data is lost. ZEUS v0.10 delivers a sweepremoteclosed command for users with sync issues or lost channel backups. More chantools commands are expected to be added over time.
